Duties:
Leverage a wide spectrum of internal and external nutrition data including large-scale nutrition & health surveys and food composition databases to define nutrition criteria & recommendations across product categories, dietary habits, and different life Lead and perform data analyses to support scientific research activities in nutrition epidemiology and nutrient profiling to inform product innovation and renovation based on the population’s nutritional needs and public health aspects; Develop and apply methodologies to assess the role of product categories in balanced diets and translate scientific findings into appealing business concepts; Lead scientific outputs including impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders, publications and/or patents
Requirements:
Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Nutrition Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health or related subjects; Experience in applying nutrition epidemiology and biostatistics in research studies, including analysis of larger and heterogeneous dietary intake and nutrition data sets. Experience with >1 statistical software (R, SPSS, Stata, SAS) is a plus; Ability to implement new ideas in nutrition epidemiology and novel approaches for nutrition data analysis to inform innovation and renovation of products

The Nutrition Sciences department, one of the six research departments in Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences, focuses on the nutrition and diets of our consumers in relation to health and well-being. We study dietary intakes and food consumption patterns around the world and apply the results of our assessments to improve our product portfolio and generate new innovations. Our goal is to improve the understanding of the relationships between dietary intake at different life stages with nutrient status and health outcomes. We work in close collaboration with other departments within the Institute of Health Sciences, and colleagues from different Nestlé Research Institutes as well as our business partners. Excellent written and oral presentation & communication skills in English, ability to adapt messages to different target audiences.
