The Bioinformatics Scientist will be responsible for designing, implementation, execution, and coordination of computational projects; Assist with the new hire process for incoming personnel; Train and instruct other staff members to use specific tools and pipelines when needed; Work with Research Assistants and other Scientists to execute scientific experiments related to one or more projects; Manage third party collaborations
Requirements:
PhD or Master with at least 5 years of experience in Computational Biology/Biotechnology or similar field is required; At least 3 years of experience in industry and/or post-doctoral experience; Demonstrated scientific leadership to independently design, implement, coordinate and drive successful outcomes in scientific projects; Strong record of independent research supported by peer-reviewed publications and/or patents; Solid expertise with multi-omic data analysis including WGS, transcriptomics and single cell RNA-Seq
