Position: Computational Biology Intern

Duties: Develop algorithms to simulate different steps in the library preparation process; Perform statistical analysis to test different hypotheses; Derive useful metrics to benchmark and validate different designs; Optimize different steps in the data generation and analysis processes
Requirements: Familiarity with Linux systems and the command line terminal; Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks and commonly used visualization libraries; Fundamentals of computer science and data structures; Statistical knowledge (distributions, hidden-markov models, permutations); Programming skills in R and/or Python (preferably Python); Ability to critically analyze data and present results
