Duties:	We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Scientist to contribute with developing state-of-the-art methodology to large scale projects on climate and infectious diseases, model-based disease surveillance and on applications of geostatistical modelling of very large health and environmental data. The successful applicant will join a dynamic group of statisticians and mathematical modelers working on a broad range of projects in the area of disease and environmental epidemiology
Requirements:	Recent PhD (completed <4 years) in statistics, mathematics or mathematical epidemiology; Strong background in Bayesian modelling and computation; Experience in spatio-temporal modelling or stochastic epidemic modelling; Strong programming skills in R are essential, additional skills in C++ as an advantage
