Position: Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Algebraic Geometry

Duties: The supporting grant for this position is part of the project "Orthogonal gauge duality & non-commutative geometry" funded by the Research Council of Norway. The candidate should have research interests related to the themes of this project, which are the homological algebra of algebraic varieties (e.g. derived categories of coherent sheaves, semi-orthogonal decompositions, non-commutative K3 surfaces) and moduli spaces and enumerative geometry of sheaves/curves (e.g. Donaldson-Thomas/Gromov-Witten invariants)
Requirements: Applicants must hold a degree equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in mathematics. Doctoral dissertation must be submitted for evaluation by the closing date of this job posting. Only applicants with an approved doctoral thesis and public defence are eligible for appointment; The candidate must have documented research experience in algebraic geometry. Work related to homological algebra in algebraic geometry or to enumerative geometry is an advantage
