Perform internationally relevant research in safety and reliability of multi-modal perception systems for situation awareness; Develop methods for the qualification and quantification of sensors’ data quality in relation to weather and operational conditions; Develop methods for sensitivity analysis of AI-based perception pipelines towards variation in data quality; Develop methods for the verification and validation of multi-modal perception systems; Demonstrate the developed methods and tools on case studies connected with autonomous ship navigation |
