Position: Mathematician/Actuary for Digital Insurance Solutions

Duties: Identify and serve new digital insurance partners with state-of-the-art reinsurance solutions; Evaluating risks in light of actuarial/mathematical considerations; Performing comprehensive price and margin calculations, including assessing offers and developing solutions; Participation in setting up a competence centre for digital (re)insurance solutions; Observation of InsurTech activities in Property & Casualty; Presenting concepts in the context of workshops with customers or as a speaker at events
Requirements: At least 3 years of insurance experience, preferably at a primary insurance; In-depth market and product knowledge around Property & Casualty (re)insurance; Degree in actuarial science or a comparable field of study; Interested in new insurance solutions and technologies; Proficient user skills in English (at least level C1)

Your Tasks The Digital Business Accelerator equip Hannover Re to adapt with the insurance industry as technology enhances the delivery of innovative solutions. You will be part of the team focused in understanding new digital insurance solutions and developing supportive novel reinsurance structures. Identify and serve new digital insurance partners with state-of-the-art reinsurance solutions Evaluating risks in light of actuarial/mathematical considerations Performing comprehensive price and margin calculations, including assessing offers and developing solutions Participation in setting up a competence centre for digital (re)insurance solutions Observation of InsurTech activities in Property & Casualty Presenting concepts in the context of workshops with customers or as a speaker at events Your Profile At least 3 years of insurance experience, preferably at a primary insurance In-depth market and product knowledge around Property & Casualty (re)insurance Degree in actuarial science or a comparable field of study Interested in new insurance solutions and technologies Proficient user skills in English (at least level C1) Willingness to travel worldwide, approximately three to four times a year for an average of one week each time On a personal level, you can impress us with your strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
