The Senior Programmer Analyst position evaluates requirements for a given project to come up with the technical vision needed to meet the project goals. This vision could include configuration of existing systems or the creation of new systems. The role requires both technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and manage these solutions through to their implementation. This role serves as a bridge between Solution Analysts who describe the requirements and developers and other IT staff who implement the solution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related certification, or equivalent experience; At least five years of experience designing and developing data-oriented technical solutions; Experience designing efficient data models for both batch and transactional solutions; Query data using SQL or other query languages; Experience designing service-oriented solutions; Experience designing processes that run very efficiently on large, relational databases
