Successful candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have a Ph.D. (ABD candidates will be considered but must have the Ph.D. completed by the date of appointment) in Mathematics or Statistics or an equivalent research degree with at least 18 graduate hours in applied mathematics or 18 graduate hours in statistics; and should have the demonstrated ability for engaged and innovative teaching at the undergraduate level
