Position: Software Developer and Integration Specialist

Duties: Due to the scope of solutions required across these diverse work units, the position exists on a small Developer Team that manages work using Agile practices. The Developers work with the Project Manager to fulfill stakeholder requests and complete backlog items related to a multitude of systems. Work typically consists of developing and maintaining custom web applications, scheduled tasks, web services, software libraries, etc., as well as designing and configuring integrations of these with systems external to the department, such as enterprise management systems (both SaaS on on-prem), other CSU systems, etc
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; At least 2 years of software development experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Proven critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues through data collection, research, and troubleshooting

Position Summary This position develops, maintains, and supports software applications and integrations for HDS , including University Housing, Residential Dining Services ( RDS ), HDS Facilities Management, Conference and Event Services ( CES ), the CSU Mountain Campus, the RamCard Office ( RCO ), and HDS Administration (which includes HDS Business Services, Workplace Inclusion and Talent Management ( WITM ), Projects and Outreach, and HDS Human Resources, and HDS Communications). Perform business process analysis on HDS business problems to elect and refine high quality and robust solution designs that result in little-to-no toil.
