Requirements: graduate in a quantitative field with interest in insurance mathematics or junior professional in actuarial field; experience with and curiosity about programming

Location: Zurich, Zurich, CH Junior Reserving Actuary About the Role The focus of this role is to support the economic valuation and financial reporting under local GAAP, EVM and Solvency II for the Irish medical expense business (Medex), underwritten by Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in collaboration with Laya, an Irish life and health company. Furthermore, it will support the transformation of the actuarial reserving process from US GAAP to IFRS 17. About the Team The incumbent will be part of our Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Zurich based actuarial team which is responsible for settling technical reserves at adequate levels meeting all local statutory, US GAAP, and IFRS 17 requirements for the region Europe and Middle East. In addition, we are supporting Swiss Re Group in all actuarial risk management aspects with respect to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. About You The most relevant criteria for this position are the following: graduate in a quantitative field with interest in insurance mathematics or junior professional in actuarial field experience with and curiosity about programming strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal English communication skills ability to prioritize, plan, and implement across multiple work efforts simultaneously integrative and proactive personality with the ability to successfully work together with different personal styles and cultures We are looking forward to your application!
