Position: Risk Manager - Validation of Internal Model (m/w/d)

Duties: Support the validation scoping, implementation planning and monitor continuously the status of validation activities related to Internal Model under Solvency II Directive as well as under Swiss Solvency Test Environment; Perform quantitative and qualitative validation tests and check the accuracy and reliability of inputs and assumption applied in the models; Identify possible areas of improvements in the models and monitor constantly the remediation actions put in place by Model Users
Requirements: Quantitative university background with at least a Master's degree and good knowledge of statistics; Experience in actuarial field and/or risk management; Knowledge of the insurance business and insurance risk management, valuation and risk measurement in Solvency 2 and SST framework; Ability to work independently without close supervision, self-motivated, proactive personality able to anticipate needs, driven and task oriented and able to deliver in time under pressure
   
Text: Risk Manager - Validation of Internal Model (m/w/d) 80 - 100% We offer a challenging and interesting full-time position as Risk Manager to reinforce our Validation of Internal Model team. What to expect Support the validation scoping, implementation planning and monitor continuously the status of validation activities related to Internal Model under Solvency II Directive as well as under Swiss Solvency Test Environment Perform quantitative and qualitative validation tests and check the accuracy and reliability of inputs and assumption applied in the models Identify possible areas of improvements in the models and monitor constantly the remediation actions put in place by Model Users Contribute in writing the Validation Reports and related documentation with different level of detail Build relationships with local and Group stakeholders to ensure the proper implementation of the validation system and participate actively to initiatives to improve and optimize controls to strengthen the validation framework Further development of the Risk Management framework on a wider perspective The skills you'll bring Quantitative university background with at least a Master's degree and good knowledge of statistics Experience in actuarial field and/or risk management Knowledge of the insurance business and insurance risk management, valuation and risk measurement in Solvency 2 and SST framework Ability to work independently without close supervision, self-motivated, proactive personality able to anticipate needs, driven and task oriented and able to deliver in time under pressure Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills to work in a dynamic and international team Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluent in English, additional languages would be an advantage Very good knowledge of MS Office, previous experience with R language would be an advantage Your workplace Soodmattenstrasse 10, 8134 Adliswil Your benefits Work at Generali Culture of innovation: we actively encourage ongoing improvement and your input
