The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary group of researchers consisting of roboticists and aging experts to develop an AI Planning framework (using PDDL and ROSPlan) for deploying in a commercially available ground robot (e.g., Fetch base, Clearpath Husky, or Locus Origin)

The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary group of researchers consisting of roboticists and aging experts to develop an AI Planning framework (using PDDL and ROSPlan) for deploying in a commercially available ground robot (e.g., Fetch base, Clearpath Husky, or Locus Origin). The candidate will primarily work at the Cognitive Assistive Robotics lab ( http://carl.cs.unh.edu/ ) and will have the opportunity to advance research on merging classical AI planning with imitation learning with an overarching goal of field deployment. The candidate will have the opportunity to do fundamental research on merging classical AI planning with imitation learning with an overarching goal of deployment in the wild. The position is for 1 year, with a strong possibility of a 2nd year extension. We offer competitive salary and benefit.
