Required Related Experience N/A Required License/Registration/Certification N/A Job Summary The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2023. This position is open to candidates in any area of statistics, data science, and/or probability. A Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research is required. The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics offers a stimulating and nurturing academic environment. The faculty are involved in theoretical, methodological, and interdisciplinary research. They direct research programs across a broad range of areas, including bioinformatics, computational statistics, nonparametric methods, applied probability, and high-dimensional inference.
