The Search Committee considers this to be a broad research domain with elements that may be algorithmic, computational, or mathematical, and informed by substantive subject-matter considerations. This position is part of a campus-wide cluster initiative to deepen UW-Madison leadership in multi-messenger/time domain Astrophysics. There are many opportunities for collaboration on campus, including diverse opportunities to contribute to the intellectual community that supports the UW Madison IceCube Neutrino Observatory.
