The successful candidate will work closely with the Laboratory Director on a project whose goal it is to develop a general framework and theory for the rigorous mathematical treatment of a certain class of artificial neural networks endowed with general distributed time delays. Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include the following: Conduct high quality research on the subject matter of the project; Publish research outcomes in peer-reviewed journals; Prepare and present the research outcomes at conferences; Perform other research-related duties as assigned by the laboratory director |

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or applied mathematics by the time of appointment. A minimum of four years' experience working with retarded functional differential equations and other types of nonlinear dynamical systems |
