Teach at least twelve (12) semester hours per semester; The selected candidate is expected to maintain a strong research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics and mathematics; Seek funding to strengthen the mathematics program, particularly receiving student scholarship to help promote the number of undergraduate mathematics majors to graduate and successfully placed in graduate school and or professional field; Participate in teaching, research and service activities at the department, college, and university levels that includes successfully completing 80% of teaching, 10% of research & 10% of service annually; Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Applicant must possess a Ph.D. in Mathematics, or a closely related field; Applicant must have 1-3 years of teaching experience at a university level; Applicant must have demonstrated teaching excellence indicated by research presentations and teaching assessments; Applicant must have commitment to research as evidenced by publication in scholarly journals and receiving external funding
