Duties:	Quantum Engineering Science and technology (QUEST) group at UMass Lowell invites applications for postdoctoral scholar position in theory and phenomenology of quantum information processing. This position is for a minimum of two years with several possibilities of extensions, and comes with competitive salary and benefits. While background in quantum information sciences is highly desirable, we strongly encourage applications from promising candidates across a broad spectrum of fields, such as quantum field theory, high-energy physics, computer science, mathematics and/or AMO
Requirements:	PhD in in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline before the start date of the position; 3-5 years experience (prior postdoc or graduate research) in theoretical quantum physics or quantum optics; Experience with circuit-QED and superconducting quantum circuits is desirable (but not necessary)
