Position: Sr. Actuarial Associate

Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States
Duties: Coordinate, prepare and perform actuarial analysis to assist in the development of rates, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts used in actuarial recommendations and reporting; Develop, calculate and/or check policy values, net premiums, reserves and/or non-forfeiture values; Develop, extend and/or maintain profit studies, forfeiture values and GAAP reserve programs, rate files, and procedures; Assist in preparation of actuarial response and communication of results of actuarial research to product management areas. May assist in preparing actuarial portion of financial reports, tax returns and responses to insurance regulators
Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or related business discipline; Completion of 5-6 actuarial exams; ASA; 3-4+ years finance, insurance industry, or actuarial experience; Solid base understanding of insurance products and insurance company operations; Excellent computer skills (especially Excel, Access, Visual Basic); Strong oral and written communication skills; able to communicate with manager, team members and partners/customers
