Position: Biostatistician/Bioinformatics Staff Scientist

Duties: Work with project teams to ensure proper design and timely execution of development, performance, and clinical studies; Work with a team of lab scientists to provide interpretation of data resulting from large data sets generated in performance studies; Deliver high quality statistical outputs (protocols, study reports, etc.) in an efficient and timely manner for in support of submissions to regulatory authorities; Provide statistical input for clinical study protocols
Requirements: MS degree with 5+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, computer science, or biological sciences and 2+ years of industry experience; Expertise with SAS/JMP and software skills appropriate for manipulating and analyzing large data sets; Expertise in large-scale inference, resampling methods, modern classification and regression, analysis of longitudinal data, predictive model development and assessment, and statistical graphics and programming
