Position: Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties: The candidate will be involved in the analysis of placental microRNA and mRNA data, with a focus on integration of this data to study the relationship between prenatal phthalate exposure and spontaneous preterm birth. There will be opportunities to build upon these research questions to investigate other exposures and infant health outcomes; as well as to generate and integrate more omics data in key pregnancy tissues. This candidate will work closely with the ECHO PATHWAYS consortium, which is a multi-PI multi site consortium based out of the University of Washington. ECHO PATHWAYS brings together three cohorts to focus on multiple prenatal chemical exposures, whole genome placental transcription, and child neurodevelopmental and respiratory outcomes. The post-doctoral fellow will be expected to follow ECHO PATHWAYS guidelines for data analysis and publication
Requirements: Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program; Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area
