Position: Bioinformatician, Discovery Informatics

Duties: As the senior bioinformatician in our Discovery Informatics department, you will have direct responsibility for a wide range of key informatics challenges of drug discovery, working on highly innovative products that support decision making in drug discovery as part of our AI-enabled drug discovery. You will be part of a fast-paced, and multidisciplinary team, developing novel products for both greenfield and established projects. We expect our team members to be experts in their field and to bring new ideas to ensure we are continuing to developing high quality analytics, software and data products. We are strongly committed to continuing professional development for all staff
Requirements: 5-10+ years applied bioinformatics research; Strong knowledge of public domain resources such as wwPDB, UniProt, Ensembl, PubMed and other specialist resources such as TCGA, OpenTargets, GWAS catalogue, etc; Strong experience in nucleotide data sequence analysis, and protein sequence and structure comparison
