For more information visit https://www.wesleyan.edu/hr/handbook/compensation-practices/index.html Position Details The Wave Transport in Complex Systems ( WTICS ) group at Wesleyan University is seeking an applied-physics Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on wave transport in metamaterials. Specific areas of research include: (a) Parity-time symmetric circuits; (b) (micro-)electromechanical devices (with emphasis on sensors and energy harvesting); (c ) active topological structures; (d) asymmetric transport; (e) broadband absorbing structures; and (f) Wavefront shaping techniques. Additional responsibilities include: Supervise graduate and undergraduate students Manuscript preparation and editing and conference presentations. Assisting in grant preparation and grant applications The position is approved for two years with the potential to extend another year.
