Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Department/Area Materials Research Position Description The Li Group is looking for a postdoctoral research fellow for projects on battery materials/devices or strongly correlated materials. Recent Ph.D. and postdocs with a background in materials science, physics, applied physics, chemistry, or a related field are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have expertise in some of the following areas: Design, synthesis, and testing of electrochemical energy storage materials Advanced characterizations of energy-related materials Design of battery devices DFT simulations Theoretical and simulation approaches for strongly correlated materials Basic Qualifications Ph.D. Additional Qualifications Strong communication skills, motivation in scientific research, and experience in writing scientific papers are required. Candidates with a strong background in solid-state batteries or unconventional superconductors are encouraged to apply.
