Skills Required: Level B A PhD in Pharmacology or related discipline, and/or substantial relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in the practice of pharmacology education. Proven commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in pharmacology Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., relevant discipline- based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales) Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of work-integrated learning (desirable) Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives Level C (in addition to the above) Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others Demonstrated commitment and ability to lead undergraduate course development in the discipline area Capacity to provide expertise and academic leadership within the discipline of Pharmacology or a relevant sub-disciplinary area Demonstrated high level written communication and presentation skills, including development of modern educational material at the tertiary education level.
