They should already hold or have submitted a PhD/DPhil/MD, and be of the standing required for an appropriate honorary contract of service with the NHS LETB (specialist trainee/LETB)

The appointment will be for four years and, if you do not already hold a PhD/DPhil/MD at the time of application, will be subject to the confirmation of the award before commencement of post. The post must be taken up by 31 March 2023. This post is recognised for training by the Royal College of Pathologists (Medical Virology) and the Royal College of Physicians (Infectious Diseases).
