Position: Research Ambassador

Duties: Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the post holder’s prime responsibility is to disseminate the research arising from the Visual AI project to appropriate communities in the biological and social sciences and associated research institutions. The postholder is expected to develop project dissemination strategies and be responsible for the implementation of the strategies. The postholder will contribute to the research strategies development by gathering and presenting feedback from the dissemination programme. The post holder is expected to create and manage a network of interested and engaged stakeholders from a diverse range of collaborators such as research laboratories, and institutions in areas such as animal behaviour and conservation, and the wildlife sciences. The postholder will oversee the organisation and realisation of seminars, meetings, workshops and one-to-one contacts with the network of researchers interested in applying the software, and will act as an advocate for the project

Text: Research Ambassador Department of Engineering Science, Parks Road, OX1 3PJ We are seeking a part time (50%) Research Ambassador (Visual AI Project) to join the Visual Geometry Group (Central Oxford). The post is funded by EPSRC and is fixed-term for 1 years with possible extension.
