Position: Bioinformatics Data Analyst

Duties: Design and apply integrative data analysis (computational/statistical/causal) and visualisation techniques for multi-omic (transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics) data to address research hypotheses focusing on safety; Develop, test and support data analysis tools and pipelines in collaboration with key partners; Seek out latest analysis and visualisation techniques and assess their potential use to support ESR activities
Requirements: You are likely to be educated to PhD degree level in Bioinformatics, Computational Science, Data Science or Statistics or a Graduate with relevant experience; You will have experience in integration and harmonising multi-omics datasets e.g., using network-based, graph modelling, dimensionality reduction or machine learning approaches; Track record of processing and deriving novel insights from integrative analysis of multi-omic datasets; Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data to a non-expert; Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis and programming
