Position: Postdoctoral Fellow - Oncology Bioinformatics

Duties: The Piskol lab in Genentech’s Research and Early Development organization is looking for an exceptional Postdoctoral Fellow who will pair state-of-the-art single cell assays with computational methods to study the intra-tumoral heterogeneity of metastatic colorectal cancer and the collaborative role of oncogenic signaling pathways in cancer maintenance, progression and response to treatment
Requirements: You have a Ph.D in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or related field; You have a demonstrated record of innovative scientific accomplishments as evidenced by at least one first-author or co-first author key paper in a top journal; You have demonstrated ability to apply modern computational methodologies for biologically meaningful interpretation of high-throughput genomics/transcriptomics data (e.g. scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, TraCe-seq, spatial transcriptomics, etc.)
