Position summary A Post-Doctoral Researchers/ Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher is sought to work on a project supported by the SFI on a 3.5-year contract starting from September 2022. The researcher will be responsible for the development of RiboSeq.Org resources. The successful candidate will play a leading role in coordination of a team of students, researchers and developers who currently contribute to this project and also will play an active role in Elixir Node Ireland. The RiboSeq.Org team is a part of a larger group of researchers, including wet lab researchers who study regulation of gene expression and protein synthesis, see more detail at https://lapti.ucc.ie/. The successful candidate is expected to have Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related disciplines and experience in software/database development and/or biological data analysis, especially of high throughput sequencing data. The level of appointment is dependent on the level of prior experience. Post Duration: 3.5 Years Salary: Post-Doctoral Researcher: €39,522- €46,906 p.a., Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher: €48,242- €51,035 p.a.
