Position: Post-Doctoral Researcher/Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher, School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology

Duties: A Post-Doctoral/Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher is sought to work on a project supported by the SFI on a 3.5 year contract starting from November 2022. The researcher will be responsible for working on the projects focusing on improvement of ribosome profiling technique, discovery and characterisation of novel human proteoforms and interrogation of gene expression changes that take place during cellular transformations such as programmed cell death and epithelial-mesenchymal transition
Requirements: The successful candidates are expected to have Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related disciplines and experience in working in the fields of translational control and/or RNA Biology. We are looking for the skills in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics techniques. The level of appointment is dependent on previous experience
