Position: Senior Scientist (Bioinformatics), Cancer Immunotherapy/T cells

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States
Duties: The successful candidate will join a group of computational biologists focused on research on neoantigens, understanding T cells targeting neoantigens, and developing T cell therapies targeting neoantigens in solid tumors. This is an exciting application of computational biology in the clinic, wherein targets are identified using bioinformatics approaches, including designing the treatment for each patient in an individualized manner. The ideal candidate will have key expertise in using bulk and single cell sequencing analysis to understand immune cells, tumor microenvironment and immune pathways, and a demonstrated record of conducting scientific research in computational biology
Requirements: PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or a related field. Alternatively, you have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a similar field with a strong hands-on bioinformatics component; 3+ years (Senior Scientist) or 6+ years (Principal Scientist) of post-doctoral, academic faculty, or industrial experience; Experience in single cell sequencing analysis is required; You have strong experience in NGS and other ‘omics data analysis (RNA-seq, TCR-seq, ATAC-seq, whole exome sequencing, etc.)
