Position: Health Modeller

Duties: We are looking for a Researcher to contribute to the COPPER (CO-designing for healthy People and Planet: food Economic policy Research) project and the LEAP (Livestock, Environment and People) project, working with a team focussed on joint health and environmental analyses of food systems. The post holder will contribute to a programme of work based on scenario modelling of both global and UK food systems. They will be working with existing models, contributing to the design of modelling projects related to the food system, writing scientific articles, and presenting findings at internal and external meetings and conferences
Requirements: To be considered you will hold or be close to completion of a PhD or DPhil in a population health related field. You will have experience of operating health models
   
Text: Health Modeller Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford), Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The department has over 750 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward.
