Responsibilities include providing problem resolution for applications which run over the local University network and Internet. Configure, troubleshoot and maintain the Voice over IP infrastructure, E-911, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, DWDM and Ethernet technologies
Requirements:	Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related discipline and four years’ experience in design, troubleshooting, and management of medium- or large-sized enterprise TCP/IP networks required. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network problems. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team required

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network problems. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team required. Desirable Qualifications Experience with network performance monitoring, and debugging tools, 802.1x, Radius and/or SAML / SSO authentication, wireless, network intrusion detection, IPv6, IP video, VoIP, EIGRP , BGP and network and server virtualization are highly desirable.
