Minimum Qualifications An earned Ph.D. from an accredited institution in mathematics or in statistics with a strong mathematical background. Preferred Qualifications The preferred areas of research are actuarial science and the interdisciplinary field of data mining and machine learning but those working in other areas of statistics are strongly encouraged to apply as well. The candidate should have evidence of high quality teaching, as seen in the letters of recommendation, and quality research commensurate with years of experience. Compensation and Benefits Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2022.
