The pre-doc will be based at Harvard and will closely collaborate on all aspects of research in behavioral economics, including data analysis, surveys, and experiments. The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills, and experiences: A background in economics or applied math Coding experience in Python, R, Stata or other languages, ideally including experience with NLP or other aspects of ML Interest in behavioral economics Strong project management and communication skills in spoken and written English Prior experience as research assistant, ideally as a full time research assistant The position is ideally suited for students who would like to improve their research skills to prepare themselves for graduate school. The start date is September 1, 2022. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree by start date Additional Qualifications Special Instructions Applications should include (i) a cover letter that explains motivation and prior experience, (ii) an informative CV that lists degrees, research experience and software skills, and (iii) names of references with whom a candidate had previously worked as an RA.
