Duties: Support clinical research projects through the entire process (planning; project data management - statistical analysis - publication); Collaborate with and support clinical researchers in multicenter observational studies carried out at the STCS and the STCS data manager team; Work as member of a small team of statisticians, data managers and IT developers; Act as an advisor in the Scientific Committee of the STCS and critically appraise STCS research proposals
Requirements: Master's degree or diploma in (bio)-statistics, data science or related area; Experience with clinical research data is an advantage; Good knowledge of bio-statistical methodologies as time-to-event analysis, longitudinal data methods and datavisualization; Excellent programming skills in R; experience in other languages is an advantage (SAS, Stata); Rapid onboarding and willingness to learn the STCS data model and ecosystem; Good understanding of data management processes and project planning; Open-minded and team-oriented, able to work independently; Fluency in English (min. The Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS) is a nationwide prospective multi-center observational cohort study funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The primary objective of the STCS is to perform high-quality clinical research and outcome monitoring to ensure the quality of care for organrecipients in all transplantation centers in Switzerland. From June 2022 or later we are looking for a Biostatistician 80-100% This position is funded by third parties and initially limited to two years.
