Position: Pricing Analyst

Duties: Supporting the delivery of new business quotations to life offices for life and health products; Supporting the development of the technical pricing bases by analysing and interpreting data and explaining findings to stakeholders throughout the business; Analysing experience data to determine trends and to ensure profitability targets are met and communicating results/findings to stakeholders across the business; Help enhance the pricing team capability by supporting the improvement of processes and approaches
Requirements: Degree (2: 1 or above, or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, e.g. mathematics, statistics or actuarial studies; Experience in a technical role either with a life (re)insurer, life consultancy or another statistical pricing role e.g. General Insurance; Ability to analyse and interpret data, draw conclusions from it and clearly communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business; Good written and verbal communication skills; Excel skills and actuarial software experience

Your expertise in pricing and experience analysis will support you as you work alongside the marketing team to deliver creative solutions and support market growth meeting the needs of our clients. Working together with the wider pricing team you will deliver high quality pricing analysis on quote opportunities for clients. Your creative and analytical thinking will allow you to support the delivery or accurate pricing.
