Position: Integrate Actuary

Duties: Help develop and design enhancements to be made to existing actuarial software products; Assist the Product Manager and the software developers by helping to define features and manage the feature backlog; Assist in designing and building videos and other Integrate training curriculum for both internal and external audiences; Act as a catalyst for certain tickets that come into our Support desk by being the bridge between the actuaries, the software developers, and the cloud operations team; Actively promote Integrate solutions and ideas by publishing articles, speaking at industry events, and driving other, similar types of thought leadership; Participate in client projects by delivering customized software and actuarial solutions using the Integrate suite of capabilities
Requirements: Milliman's requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Actuarial Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or related discipline; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation; and at least five years of substantial experience configuring, implementing, testing, and using actuarial systems (e.g. MG-ALFA, MG-Triton, MoSes, TAS, PTS, Prophet, Axis or similar) to develop, modify, test/validate or apply actuarial models to perform risk assessment, valuation, and projection with regard to insurance product lines, benefits offerings or business transactions. The successful candidate will also have moderate experience as a software developer and experience interfacing with IT and engineering teams as it relates to enterprise actuarial systems

In particular, will apply knowledge of actuarial principles, software practices, technical concepts, and relevant business experience to evaluate, ensure, and validate the overall integrity and functionality of Milliman’s Integrate. And will further: Help develop and design enhancements to be made to existing actuarial software products.
