Duties: The Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) is globally recognised as a leading academic department, researching and teaching the science of cities; We are looking to appoint a leading scholar who will be affiliated with a new industry collaboration, the CASA Arup City Modelling Lab. The purpose of the CASA Arup City Modelling Lab is to foster innovation between theory and practice, projects and policies. We take some of the most pressing and complex challenges from city decision makers and co-develop methods, data and tooling that better enable city decision makers to make the changes required to tackle pressing global challenges such as social inequality and climate change
Requirements: We seek highly-motivated individuals with a PhD in a relevant discipline, with high quality academic research and publication record relevant to the work carried out in CASA, and experience of teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, particularly in relation to technical subjects
