Duties: The UCL Centre for Educational Leadership has a national and global impact in transforming education through leadership excellence. We are the UK’s largest university-based centre for research, teaching, development and innovation in educational leadership. This important post is primarily responsible for managing our student data. The role will be responsible for managing our new student management system and ensuring it integrates with other DfE and UCL systems. The role holder will become the expert in our Centre for all things data. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a passion for data and experience in student management and/or customer relationship management systems. The role will include developing data solutions and working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. They will also be responsible for working with our student management system vendor to ensure integration using csv, API and web services approaches. The postholder will work within a friendly team of 26 and will be required to manage a small team
Requirements: The successful candidate will have experience of managing data for large scale and/or complex projects or programmes. You will have experience of management, collation and analysis of student data and knowledge of GDPR regulations, with the ability to advise others, ensuring they are understood and that correct procedures are followed

We are the UKs largest university-based centre for research, teaching, development and innovation in educational leadership. Located in the UCL Institute of Education, we are a world-leading centre for knowledge creation, exchange and application for improving the quality of leadership, management and learning in education in London, the UK, and internationally. Our work includes the design and delivery of the National Professional Qualifications for School Leadership, the Early Career Teacher Programmes (Early Career Framework) and a wide range of national and international knowledge exchange and consultancy programmes. Each year these programmes are delivered to over 15,000 teachers and school leaders. This important post is primarily responsible for managing our student data. The role will be responsible for managing our new student management system and ensuring it integrates with other DfE and UCL systems. The role holder will become the expert in our Centre for all things data. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a passion for data and experience in student management and/or customer relationship management systems. The role holder will be responsible for developing data service specifications to ensure that we work effectively with our 22 delivery partners and that data processes are automated as much as possible. The role holder will be responsible for training our teams on the use of the student management system. They will have an excellent understanding of GDPR. The role will include developing data solutions and working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. They will also be responsible for working with our student management system vendor to ensure integration using csv, API and web services approaches. The postholder will work within a friendly team of 26 and will be required to manage a small team. We would welcome applications for part-time working.
