Position: Quant Analyst – Climate Risk

Duties: Assisting in the development and delivery of Impairment/Stress Testing models and sensitivity analysis tools for Barclays portfolios with focus on Climate Change Physical Risk; Assisting in the design and coding of models and tools that allow business stakeholders manage Climate Change Risk; Provide in-depth impact & what-if analysis on Climate Change Physical Risk for BUK Retail portfolios; Providing domain knowledge and support to Risk and other QA teams to fulfil the Bank’s regulatory obligations for climate stress testing; Providing expertise in the analysis of internal and external data pertaining to climate to support the business and risk in achieving climate targets; Designing, developing and implementing models and metrics for portfolio climate/carbon analysis
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics from a top University; Experience in Quant modelling techniques and knowledge of models in one or more asset classes; Methodical aptitude to problem solving; Expertise in Python programming language and Data Science

Explore location Quant Analyst - Climate Risk London As a Barclays Quant Analyst (QA), you will focus on the delivery of models and model frameworks and their integration into technology. You will be involved in the designing and implementation of Python and C++ for models, associated tooling and testing.
