Position: Associate Professor (Teaching) - Engineering in Society Programme Director

Duties: The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy Department to deliver this exciting new UG programme. The appointed person will directly contribute to and foster the development of the BSc Engineering in Society and will provide leadership, support and inspiration to staff leading and teaching the programme. Applicants should also be experienced teachers who will enjoy lecturing on the new programme
Requirements: Candidates should have a PhD, teaching and curriculum development experience. The successful applicant will have demonstrable ability to work successfully with others to deliver complex education projects or similar. Applicants should have knowledge of public policy and engineering studies at an undergraduate level, gained through academic, clinical or industrial experience
