Position: Sr Casualty Actuarial Analyst – Asia Pacific

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Duties: Undertake detailed pricing analysis using internal and external data to enable ongoing reviews and calibration and enhancement of existing rating models for Casualty; Supervise and assist in the design and development of new products in the region; Undertake detailed analytics and preparation of analysis for Annual Portfolio Reviews of Casualty assisted by other Actuaries within the team and in local offices while working closely with Product Managers to produce these reviews; Provide advice and assistance in the preparation of the annual business plan loss ratios for Casualty; Lead projects with the Predictive Model Unit to enhance existing tools and develop new rating algorithms; Design and assist in the development of Management Information dashboards to monitor key performance Indicators for Casualty; Work with Global Actuarial leadership to align pricing standards in the region and ensure consistency across all Countries
Requirements: Tertiary degree in a mathematics related field; Progress towards becoming a Fellow or Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent; Minimum 3 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry (preferrable in Pricing)

Qualifications Skills Strong data capabilities, attention to detail and problem solving ability. Ability to work well independently or in a team environment. Communicate fluently in one Asian language is preferrable. Experience Minimum 3 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry (preferrable in Pricing) Qualifications Tertiary degree in a mathematics related field.
