If the applicant holds a foreign degree, an assessment will be made on a case-by-case basis to determine if it can be considered equivalent to a Swedish degree.Assessment criteriaThe capacity for good quality independent research work is the main assessment grounds for appointment as an associate senior lecturer.For this appointment, the following assessment grounds apply in order of priority:An ability for high-quality independent research within System Science for defence and Security specifically pertaining to modelling and simulation that has been demonstrated through publication in relevant channels.Experience of sociotechnical research, research focused on defence, crisis management and security and/or research collaboration with authorities or enterprise.Teaching expertise demonstrated through teaching and the planning and implementation of education at a higher education institution.Applicants must have documented proficiency in teaching in English. If the successful candidate is not proficient in Swedish at the start of the appointment, he or she is expected to acquire the requisite language skills during the first two years of employment.
