Duties: This is primarily a clinical post within a research project. The postholder will work closely with Primary Care Networks in North London to oversee the delivery of an exciting new primary care service delivery approach. Responsibilities include supporting and upskilling staff in the provision of dementia care, as well as managing a small complex caseload; This role sits within the PriDem research project, which aims to improve primary care led post-diagnostic dementia support; The PriDem research project office is based at the Centre for Ageing Population Studies; Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health, University College London
Requirements: The role is suitable for a healthcare professional with experience in dementia care, and evidence of continuing professional development; such as a Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disabilities) or with an equivalent degree in an AHP area such as Occupational Therapy; The role requires significant post-registration clinical experience of working with and balancing the needs of people with dementia and their carers; including in the community; The successful candidate will bring the following core competencies to the role: Significant experience of complex dementia case management - Leadership experience - Ability to work with stakeholders to influence practice

Responsibilities include supporting and upskilling staff in the provision of dementia care, as well as managing a small complex caseload. The PriDem research project office is based at the Centre for Ageing Population Studies; Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health, University College London. The post is funded until the end of October 2022 in the first instance. We are open to secondments and job shares.
