Duties: Biological Services is an integral part of UCLs biomedical research efforts, providing expert services to researchers primarily within the School of Life and Medical Sciences. The department is composed of around 80 staff based across a number of sites in London. We work collaboratively with researchers to deliver outstanding service and ensure that a high standard of animal welfare is maintained throughout; Trainee Animal Technicians are required to provide husbandry for laboratory animals at UCL. Duties will include the daily cleaning and maintaining of laboratory animals and cages, as well as contributing to the upkeep of the wider facility
Requirements: An interest in animal care and welfare, and ability to work effectively as part of a group, experience in animal care, computer literate
