Responsibilities and qualifications Through your commitment, you will advance the research field of Industrial Statistics and Data Analysis and be a driver in developing the field’s education at all levels, as well as engage in broad research collaborations including industrial partners. Your main tasks will be: Research, teaching, and innovation within optimal collection and analysis of data from industrial processes, and manufacturing including in-line measurements of such processes. To develop tools aimed at facilitating user-friendly interfaces to the complicated methods that often arise when analysis is performed correctly. You have a good track record of securing funding, and you are eager to put that experience to use to secure further funding of our activities within industrial statistics and data analysis. Similarly, you are an experienced teacher and familiar with continuing education, scientific advice, including consultancy at a national and an international level, and will contribute to the section’s activities. As a professor, you will also be a research leader. This requires an interest and willingness to lead administrative tasks both at departmental level and in the section, and you know the importance of acting as a role model and contributing to a well-run section on behalf of your head of section. The general qualification requirements for the position are a high level of original scientific production at an international level with documented contributions to the development of industrial statistics and data analysis. Further qualifications are teaching experience at the BSc and MSc levels. Further, there is a growing focus on continuing education activities. It is assumed that you have a strong research track record within one or more of the following topics: Quality control and assessment Statistical design of industrial experiments Analysis of time series data Furthermore, it is expected that you have experience in collaboration in an industrial setting. You are expected to take a lead role in teaching at the BEng, BSc, MSc, and PhD levels. You will be expected to learn Danish and be able to teach in Danish after 3 years.
