Position: Actuarial Reserving Manager
Institution: American International Group, Inc.
Location: London, United Kingdom
Duties: Manage the timely and accurate delivery of the quarterly rollforward and detailed valuations review for UK and AESA reserve results; This includes owning the reserving process as well as the timelines and various stakeholders outside of Actuarial; Be the finance team point of contact and work with the Finance Team to ensure accurate representation of UK & AESA Reserve results in Finance and Actuarial systems; Coordinate of the deployment of Group Actuarial Reserving systems including user testing; Ensure appropriate controls are in place for the reserving process; Lead coordination of the external audit reviews, independent reserve reviews, internal audit and SOX reviews on behalf of Actuarial; Coordinate the production of Year-End reserve reports
Requirements: BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; Qualified Actuary (FIA, FCAS) preferred; 7+ years experience in General Insurance; Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills; Effective project management, time management and organizational skills; Strong business and collaboration skills; responsive to service needs and operational demands; Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
