Apply online We are seeking an ambitious postdoc with a documented history of scientific excellence to be affiliated with the Eukaryotic Molecular Cell Biology group. The candidate will be part of a larger project HARMONIZE that includes River Stone, Novozymes and Novo Nordisk as industrial partners. The overall goal of our activities is to develop novel cell factory construction technology. In particular we will strive to develop high-thought technology for strain engineering and the candidate will achieve robust training in this field. We offer a job where the candidate can work at the forefront of fungal genetic engineering in an international research environment employing state of the art methodologies and equipment. The position is funded by a grant from the Innovation Fund Denmark. Responsibilities and qualifications You will work as a member of a larger team dedicated to develop novel cell factory construction methods. You role will be to strengthen the competences of the team with genetic experience and with fermentation technology. Our projects involve industrial partners and you will need to work in close collaboration with these partners. In addition, you have a desire to contribute to teaching in experimental classes.
